About the Project

The Project for hire-purchase in installments of renewable energy equipment is intended for farmers willing to increase their energy independence and reduce electricity expenses.

Funding terms:

  • Primary down payment – 50 %
  • Payment over 1 year – 25 %
  • Payment over 2 years– 25 %
  • Annual monitoring fee – 2% annually
  • Grant is up to 50% of the project cost, but no more than 200,000 MDL per beneficiary from the Future Technologies Activity Project
  • Design costs reimbursement, where appropriate
  • Consumption assessment costs reimbursement, where appropriate
  • The maximum funding sum is – 2 500 000 MDL per beneficiary

Funding objects:

  • Solar panels with the heating system (pumps, pipes, solar tubes);
  • Photovoltaic panels for electricity production (accessories intended for installation of photovoltaic panels, including inverters).

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria when applying for the project for the hire-purchase of renewable energy equipment:

  1. They are an agricultural producer and carries out agricultural activity in the country’s territory, including production, growing or cultivation of agricultural products, as well as primary/finishing processing of agricultural products, milking, raising and keeping animals for agrarian purposes or maintaining land in good agricultural and environmental conditions, agro-tourism;
  2. They are a legal person or individual enterprise (including homestead) duly registered;
  3. They are not in insolvency proceedings by the court decision, or no application to initiate insolvency proceedings against the applicant has been submitted to the court;
  4. There are no registered debts towards the Agency;
  5. There are no arrears with the national public budget. The criterion in question does not apply to the applications for the instalment trade with regard to equipment for renewable energy production which have been withdrawn and are in the Agency’s stock;
  6. The financing ceiling from ADMA resources is 2,500,000 MDL per beneficiary, and if the applicant already holds the status of active Beneficiary (beneficiary whose hire-purchase contract has not been paid in full) within the procedure of hire-purchase in installments of renewable energy equipment, the value of the offer presented shall not exceed the difference between the maximum financing amount of 2,500,000 MDL and the balance of the receivables registered by the Beneficiary against the Agency, under the hire-purchase of renewable energy equipment procedure;
  7. They have the property right or other valid and properly registered exercisable right to use the real estate where they intend to install the equipment for renewable energy production for a period of at least 2 years;
  8. They have the connection approval and the urban planning certificate for the design.
